Your bass #112 is the 5 th
Vector prototype I made. The complete serial
number is 11207106. The bass was delivered on July 1, 1996.
The hollow body is made
of birds eye maple with a western, red cedar top. The neck is maple
with an ebony
fingerboard. This bass is 35" scale with 24 frets. The Vector bridge
(piezo), designed by Ned Steinberger, has 2 modes. The second switch
selects the plucked, bowed or blended mode
Enjoy the bass. It is the best one of the prototypes that
was made.
